1658 Sergeant Arthur Rowland, Whitewell, Norfolk, 1814; enlisted in the Coldstream Guards, August 1833; promoted Corporal, July 1836; Sergeant, November 1841; discharged, August 1854, after 21 years and 8 days with the Colours.
