A very fine example the engine turned gilt back plate with silver and gilt mounts, comprising a large facetted rayed and armed cross in silver overlaid with a crowned oval strap, 'West India Regt.', in the centre a floreate '2' on a domed ground, sprays of laurel and palm around the strap, c.1830-1855, excellent condition
