A fine quality example the gilt back plate with silver mount, comprising being a crowned circular strap 'Shropshire' enclosing '53' on a seeded ground, laurel sprays in three-quarter surround, complete with original leather liner, c.1840-1855, one very slight edge nick otherwise extremely fine condition
