A very fine quality example the engine turned gilt back plate with a burnished narrow inner edge bearing silver gilt mounts, comprising the crown over a circular strap '1st Yorkshire West Riding Regiment' enclosing laurel sprays and the floreate numerals '33', the end of the strap dividing into two floreate scrolls 'Seringapatam Waterloo', complete with original leather liner, c.1840-1855, excellent condition
