Turkish Crimea, British die, pierced as issued, but lacking ring suspension, good very fine (2)
Assistant-Surgeon William Carden Roe, appointed Assistant-Surgeon, 89th Foot, December 1854; served with the Regiment in the Crimea, and present during the siege of Sebastopol, March to June 1855, and the attack on the Grand Redan, 18.6.1855.
