Ghuznee 1839 (Corpl. Henry Hall 2nd. Foot), reverse engraved in serif capitals, with silver straight bar suspender, minor edge bruise, good very fine

Corporal Henry Hall, born Godalming, Surrey, c.1807; enlisted in the 69th Foot, September 1824; transferred to the 2nd Foot, January 1825; served with the Regiment in India from June 1825; present at the capture of Ghuznee and Khelat, and was severely wounded in the right thigh at the storming of Khelat, 13.1.1839; discharged owing to the effects of his wounds, October 1840, after 15 years and 267 days with the Colours.
