QueenslandThe Chalon IssuesRegistered Mail1874 (8 Feb.) envelope from Sugar Loaf to Shetland, bearing 3d. brown pair each cancelled "169" and 2d. blue (2), paying the registration fee, sharing a double strike of the "registered/sugarloaf" handstamp, unframed despatch, Brisbane (10.2, Campbell Type 2 in red) and London Registered (3.5) datestamps below, the reverse with Aberdeen (4.5) and Lerwick (6.5) c.d.s.; a few small imperfections though the only recorded example of this registered handstamp.
