QueenslandThe Chalon IssuesRegistered Mail - New South Wales Combination Period1860 (11 Dec.) entire from Dalby to Brisbane, bearing 1860-61 clean cut perfs. 14 to 16 2d. blue in combination with New South Wales 1860 perf. 12 Registered 6d., both indistinctly cancelled as usual for so many of the covers recorded from Dalby, the reverse with despatch, Drayton and Brisbane c.d.s., the first two still showing N.S.W. at foot, the Queensland type not appearing until January 1861; a few small imperfections though a very scarce "combination period" franking.
