A large group of trial Postal Orders and watermarked paper, mostly the latter, dated 1880/1881, for the first Postal Orders to be issued in 1881, includes printed trials for unadopted designs of 5 shillings (3), printed in black, on both watermarked and unwatermarked paper (2 different designs), paste up of watermark, specimen engravings of the crowned head of Victoria, hand drawn designs and a large quantity of watermarked paper, mostly very fine to extremely fine and a fascinating group.
