A very interesting trial watermark for the proposed Postal Orders to be issued in 1881, produced by T.F.Newell & Co. of London presumably in 1880, the watermarked paper is for a 4/9d denomination and of large banknote size, together with a business card and letter from Newells to Portals enclosing the paper in 1914, two folds, near extremely fine.
