Great Britain Postal History Valentines 1817 hand coloured Valentine in the form of an entire letter, with hearts and flowers, and a central concealed design of two lovers and with a long manuscript verse overleaf ("To you my Love far sweeter than the rose I send these Lines my passion disclose..."), posted locally in London with Two Penny Post Chief Office datestamp of 14 February; a little strengthened along the folds and slightly soiled, fine.
