Great Britain Postal History Valentines 1801, in the form of an entire letter with the Valentine inside, published by John Fairburn, the centrepiece a stipple engraving of a woman pointing to a ship at sea, the surround being pierced by hand to simulate lace and with a lengthy manuscript poem dedicated to "Sarah", "Tho doom´d dear Sarah not far from thee to roam...."; addressed to Southwalk with London Twopenny Post Receiving house and Chief Office datestamps of 14 Feb. 1801, manuscript "1", fine and an extraordinarily early printed Valentine.
