Virgin Islands 1864-99 unused/mint and used collection (100), the unused/mint including 1866 1d. (2) and 6d. (3, one with large "v"), 1867-70 1d. (3), 4d. (3) and 1/- on greyish paper upper left corner example showing missing perforation holes (ex. Frazer), 1867 frames superimposed 1/- (3, one clearly showing double frame at foot), 1868 1/- (2), 1878 1d. (3, one watermark upright), 1879-80 1d. (3) and 2 1/2d. (2), 1883-84 set (2), 1887-89 selection to 1/-, 1888 4d. on 1/- (2) and 1899 set with some additional values to 1/-; the used with 1867-70 1d. (3) and 4d., 1879-80 2 1/2d., 1887-89 values to 1/- and 1899 set less 6d.; a few small faults though of generally good to fine appearance. Cat. £4,400 Estimate £ 800-1,000
