Tasmania A collection of Western Line Travelling Post Office covers, comprising 1892 (22 Aug.) 1d. red postcard from Latrobe to Launceston, cancelled with a fine strike of the "launceston" obliterator and with arrival c.d.s. for the same date at lower left corner; 1906 (Feb.) 1d. red card, uprated with 1d. (late Fee) from Railton to Launceston, each cancelled with fine "t.p.o. no. 5" c.d.s., 1907 envelope (opened-out) from Cressy to Campbell Town bearing 2d. and showing, on reverse, both "t.p.o. no. 3" and "t.p.o. no. 4" c.d.s., illustrating that mail could be transferred from one T.P.O. to another (believed to be the only such example recorded), 1908 envelope from Stanley to Deloraine bearing 1d. and showing, on reverse, fine "t.p.o. no. 4" c.d.s., and 1909 envelope to New Norfolk bearing 1d. (3) cancelled with "t.p.o. no. 6" c.d.s.; a few small imperfections though a scarce group. Also one Commonwealth period cover Estimate £ 140-180
