Tasmania A collection of main Line Travelling Post Office covers, comprising1884 part printed Letter Bill form from Anthill Ponds Post Office marked "Mail for Green Ponds via Brighton", closed with three part "post office/Crown/anthill ponds" red wax seals and with a fair strike of the horseshoe-framed dumb datestamp, 1885 printed Letter Bill form from Campbell Town to Green Ponds, closed with a complete (cracked) "post office/Crown/campbell town" red wax seal and showing fine circular dumb datestamp; 1896 (Mar.) 1d. pink postcard from Hobart to Launceston, cancelled with defaced "41" obliterator and showing Launceston and "t.m.l. ry. no.3" c.d.s. alongside, 1896 (11 Aug.) front from Launceston to Hobart bearing 2d. with dumb obliterator and showing superb "t.m.l. ry. no. 2" c.d.s alongside,1899 (11 Feb.) envelope from Launceston to Campbell Town bearing 1d. (2) with dumb obliterators and showing "t.m.l. ry. no. 1" c.d.s. alongside, 1903 envelope to Hobart, bearing 2d. plus 1d. (Late Fee for posting on the train after the P.O. closed) each cancelled with fine "t.m.l.ry. no. 3" c.d.s., 1904 large part envelope (opened-out) from Burnie to Hobart showing superb "t.m.l. ry. no. 1" c.d.s. on reverse, and 1908 postcard to Huon bearing 1d. (soiled) cancelled by good "t.m.l. ry. no. 2" c.d.s.; also 1913-16 postcards (2) and OHMS re-used Births and Deaths Registration form showing, between then, T.P.O. Nos. 1-3.
