Northern Nigeria West African Frontier Force 1900 (6 May) unstamped envelope to Bedford, marked "No stamps available", showing fine "lokoja/post office" oval d.s. in violet, "T" and "2d/620" handstamps and, on reverse, Forcados River (12.5) and arrival (8.6) datestamps; the envelope with some faults. Photo Estimate £ 250-300 Note: This cover was possibly from a member of the Kaduna Expedition led by Colonel Morland, February to May 1900, to survey a possible site for the Government Headquarters.
