Egypt Postal History 1871 (17 Mar.) envelope from France to Egypt bearing two pairs Alsace Lorraine issue 10c. brown tied by "strasbourg 17/3/71" c.d.s., black Italian two line "affrancatura insufficienza" alongside, black "T" hs. for postage due and blue crayon ms. "16", to Cairo with transit mark Alessandria and arrival mark on reverse, small part of flap missing and few tiny stain spots, very scarce and exceptional destination for this issue.
