Egypt Italian Post Offices 1871 (3 Sept.) entire to Pisa bearing 1863-65 40c. rose with "234" in lozenge of dots cancellation with "alessandria d´egitto/poste italiane" datestamp and framed "piroscafi/postali/francesi" alongside, on arrival boxed "francobollo/insufficiente" and taxed by 1869 10c. and 1870-1925 40c. (defective) Postage Dues; fine and a most unusual mixed franking and one of the latest recorded usages of the "piroscafi/postali/francesi" handstamp. Photo Estimate € 400-500
