Egypt Italian Post Offices 1868 (15 May) envelope bearing Egypt 1867-71 1pi. rose-red (2) tied by "poste vice reali egiziane tanta 15/mag/68" c.d.s., carried to Alexandria and 1863-65 60c. dull-violet (pair) affixed and tied by very clear "234" in dots, "alessandria d´egitto/poste italiane 15/mag/69" c.d.s. alongside, black boxed "piroscafi/postaliitaliani" alongside, addressed to Palermo, part of flap missing, extremely scarce double rate envelope, very fine and a beautiful showpiece.
