Egypt French Post Offices 1874 (22 Feb.) envelope addressed to North Shields bearing Egypt 1872-75 Penasson 1pi. rose-red and 2pi. chrome-yellow, tied by "v.r. poste egiziane porto-said 22/2/74" c.d.s., carried to Alexandrie and there three vertical pairs 1871-76 30c. brown affixed and tied by Grand Chiffres "5080" cancellation, red boxed "pd" alongside, a few spots at border and part of flap missing, vertical fold through one stamp, fine and an attractive mixed franking.
