Forwarder Labels Panama 1852 (15 Oct.) entire letter from Montevideo to Philadelphia, carried out of the mails "Via Rio" to a forwarder at Chagres where a "Express Messenger to New Orleans" brown on white label (not recorded by Rowe) has been applied for transit by the steamer "Louisiana", again carried out of the mails via New Orleans to New York and showing superb "new-york/ship/7 cts" c.d.s.; most unusual.
