Southern Nigeria Aro Expedition 1902 (9 Jan.) OHMS envelope (225x97mm.) to London, marked "On Active Service. Aro Field Force. No stamps available", showing "old calabar river" c.d.s., "3d/f.b." h.s. with arrival datestamp (4.2) on reverse; the envelope with two heavy vertical folds and heavy damp spotting, nevertheless very rare. Also photocopies of six pages of "The Illustrated London News" dated between 4 January and 22 February 1902 which are believed to have been in the envelope. Photo Estimate £ 300-400
