Transvaal 1877 (28 Sept.) - 79 Overprinted "v.r./transvaal.", S.G. Types 6 and 7 Imperforate 1d. red on blue (4, three unused with one showing misplaced overprint), 1d. red on orange (2, both unused, one S.G. Type 7), 3d. mauve on buff (3 with [3L] and [9L]), 3d. mauve on green (7 with four S.G. Type 7, all but one with raised stop varieties), 6d. blue on green (4 with [29L], [9R] and [12R]) and 6d. blue on blue (2, one S.G. Type 7), various numeral cancellations including "12", "13", "23" and "25"; faults in places though of generally good to fine appearance. S.G. 116-121 group, £860 Estimate £ 200-250
