Ceylon 1860 (15 Oct.) entire letter from Colombo "per Overland mail via Marseilles" to London, bearing 1857-59 1/- slate-violet with clear to large margins nearly all round and neatly cancelled with oval of bars, Colombo Post Paid and London Paid (13.11) c.d.s. in red alongside; the adhesive with a couple of age marks, otherwise sound.
