Ceylon 1860 (17 Mar.) double rate entire letter from Kandy via Galle "via Steamer" to Madras, bearing 1857-59 5d. chestnut horizontal pair with margins in places (score mark horizontal at foot) each neatly cancelled with oval of bars, showing "stamped" h.s. alongside Galle Post Paid c.d.s. (22.3) and, on reverse, Kandy Post Paid and Steamer Letter c.d.s. and arrival c.d.s. (28.3); attractive. Photo Estimate £ 250-300
