x Great Britain 1840 Mulready One Penny Lettersheets Stereo removed by wax seal, dated 1840 (1 Oct.) to Hounslow bearing 1840 1d. black, plate IV, OE with close to very large margins and well tied by experimental black Maltese Cross, a similar strike cancelling the lettersheet and indistinct straight-line "TP" below, two neat London datestamp on flap which opens well for display; some light soiling though fine and attractive.
