Orange Free State 1900 V.R.I Overprints First Printings 1d. purple, variety no stop after "I", fresh with large part original gum, good strong colour and a very fine example of this extremely rare stamp which was discovered by the present owner in 1964 and is still considered to be the sole example recorded.
