x Malaya and States Straits Settlements 1870 (20 Dec.) entire letter from Singapore "via Brindisi" to New York, bearing 1867 32c. on 2a. yellow in combination with 1867 Second Issue 2c. brown and 8c. orange, all cancelled by light firm´s chop in blue and tied by "D14" duplex, showing red crayon "1/8", London Paid transit c.d.s. (23.1), "2/cents" accountancy h.s. and unclear arrival d.s., all in red; light vertical filing crease crosses the 8c. A rare and attractive mixed-issue franking. Holcombe Certificate (1990).
