Antarctic Bases and Territories Argentina 1912 envelope to Buenos Aires, bearing 1c. and 4c. cancelled with a fine strike of the "Tierras Argentinas Australes/Estaciön orcadas" h.s. in blue and arrival c.d.s. (1.2), the reverse with a further strike of the handstamp used as a seal and two other arrival c.d.s.; the envelope with traces of light foxing, otherwise fine and very rare, being one of only a handful of examples on cover recorded.
