Antarctica 1914-16 Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition by Ernest Shackleton 1914 (26 Oct.) envelope, complete with letter, from Shackleton in Buenos Aires to his chauffer, Bridgman, in London, the letter written on Endurance crested paper suggesting that he will write to him further from South Georgia, the envelope (stamp removed) marked "El Uruguayo", being the Houdler line ship on which he travelled to Buenos Aires Estimate £ 100-120 Note: "Endurance" sailed from England and arrived in Buenos Aires before leaving for South Georgia on 26 October
