Shackleton 1910 (30 Aug.) letter from Shackleton to Lord Balfour of Burleigh, written on B.A.E. headed paper, thanking him for writing about his lecture and signed "Ernest Shackleton"; also a 1968 commemorative cover signed by Sir Philip Brocklehurst, Bart., who was a member of the expedition; also 1909 letter from Sir Clements Markham to an unknown recipient with critical comments about Shackleton Estimate £ 100-120 Note: Scott was Sir Clements protége and as such Markham was always critical of Shackleton with neither forgiving Shackleton his Mecrhant Navy background
