Great Britain 1840 Mulready One Penny Envelopes A150, addressed to Blackfriars Road, with upright and central red Maltese Cross cancellation and "T.P./Ebury St." alongside, on reverse fine red datestamp of 1840 (15 May ) opening well for display; lightly toned, seal removed and a tiny portion of the flap replaced to improve the appearance though fine and a most appealing early date.
