Great Britain Postal History 1869 (10 Sept.) printed envelope registered to Hamburg, bearing 1858-79 1d. (2) and 1865-67 4d. plate 11 (2) with London "WC/36" cancellations, redirected on arrival in Germany to France, Switzerland and again to France, additionally bearing France 1862 40c. (2), one with "346" (Bastide-Villefranche) and the other "465" (Bessines) gros chiffre cancellations, a variety of transit and arrival markings, as might be expected with this much travelled cover, which still displays the original green string; some small faults affecting the adhesives though still a sensational exhibition cover.
