North Borneo Mempakul 1902 (15 Feb.) Labuan 1c. violet postcard, uprated with 1894-96 3c., from J. Westrap, "Government Telegraph Operator" at Mempakul, via Labuan to U.S.A., showing a fine strike of the "mempakul" c.d.s. (Type D3) at upper left corner and with the stamps cancelled at Labuan in transit (18.2) with a further strike touching the Mempakul c.d.s., unclaimed and returned showing boxed "inconnu" and "unclaimed" h.s. on face, the reverse with St. Paul machine d.s. (31.3) and triangular-framed Dead Letter Office h.s.; a couple of small creases though most unusual and very rare, being one of only three recorded covers. Photo Estimate S$ 3,000-3,500
