Mauritius 1859 Lapirot Issue Intermediate impression 2d. blue vertical pair, [8-12], with huge sheet margin at right and good to very large margins elsewhere, neatly cancelled with void obliterator (corner of [8] folded prior to cancelling and now unfolded) and clearly tied on 1859 (6 July) entire to France, showing "8" rate h.s. and French entry c.d.s. (3.8), four transit c.d.s. on reverse; the cover with some creasing and the pair lifted, pressed and treated to remove staining. A rare franking. B.P.A. Certificate (1996). S.G. 38.
