Mauritius 1859 Lapirot Issue Early impression 2d. blue horizontal pair, [9-10], with large margins on two sides, touched at left and at foot, cancelled with void obliterators on 1859 (17 June) entire "Overland via Marseilles" to Bordeaux, showing "8" rate mark and French entry c.d.s. on face, despatch and arrival c.d.s. on reverse; a few cover faults though a rare franking.
