Gibraltar Mail to or via Gibraltar 1871 (29 Nov.) entire letter from Malaga "pr Galeito" to Oran, Algeria, showing bold manuscript "8" rate mark and with a fine light strike of the "gibraltar/oran" French entry double-ring d.s. (5.12) in red, the reverse with Oran arrival c.d.s. (18.12). The only recorded example of this handstamp which is unlisted in Salles and is now considered to be a true French entry date stamp.
