Gibraltar The Spanish Overland Mail Regular arrangements were made, about 1749, for the English Mails to be carried through Spain although the service was suspended in times of war 1808 (2 Oct.) entire letter ex the Priaulx correspondence "via Corunna" and to Guernsey with an instruction to be forwarded by Nicholas Robilliard at Weymouth, rated "4/-", "4/1" (both deleted) and "4/2" and showing a good strike of the "s. roque,/andalucia/baxa" h.s. in red; a fine cover.
