Gibraltar The Spanish Overland Mail Regular arrangements were made, about 1749, for the English Mails to be carried through Spain although the service was suspended in times of war 1767 (8 Feb.) entire letter from Larache, Morocco to Marseilles, carried privately to Gibraltar where it was endorsed on reverse "Gibraltar Febrero 20 1767 Recevida y Encaminada & por su Mayor Serut servt Abm Taurel ", forwarded overland and showing a good strike of the Seville "Andalucia/Alta" h.s.; slight ink-etching on face panel, otherwise most attractive.
