SPINK USA | As the weather begins to brighten, Spink are seeing in summer with some excellent stamp auctions in New York. One of which will be the Endre Krajcsovics Collection of Hungary which will be held on the 15th June from 5pm. Hungarian stamps, essays, covers, and much more will be available in this sale. Many are iconic and very rare, this will be a great opportunity for collector's to snap up items rarely seen on the market.

The sale is made up of just over 100 lots and there is one that particularly stands out. The cover item is lot 567 is a #386a, 1921 5000K bearing the iconic Madonna and Child, with Centre Inverted. It is a particularly lovely mint single of this famous inverted centre, very well centered and fresh and very fine. It is one of the premier Inverted Centres of 20th century Europe. There are less than 100 examples in existence and at least 38 of these are tied up in museum collections and exhibitions, leaving very few opportunities for a collector to obtain one of these beautiful rarities. It is also signed R. Calves and H. Bloch and accompanied by clear 1980 Friedl certificate.
