インド ヴィクトリア女王像 大型金メダル 1860年 カルカッタ造幣局による展示用大型金メダル ラージマハル宮殿への東インド鉄道開通を記念して作られました。肖像はいわずもがな、エッジのレタリングはかなり凝った作りになっている。このような大型金メダルの大きな魅力として、実用性を考えて凹凸や大きさにに制限のある貨幣類よりも彫刻師ウィリアム・ワイオンの仕事ぶりを細部まで見ることができる点が挙げられます。おそらく唯一品であろう品。 Puddester#860.2 わずかにブラシ手入れ跡あるが乱雑に扱われた形跡は無し。 極美+
