Brazil1845, 60r. black, intermediate impression, type II, a fresh copy with clear to mostly large margins, tied by "Cidade/De/Campos" double oval handstamp on cover from Campos (Rio de Janeiro) to Rio de Janeiro, with very fine datestamp (2 September 1848) on reverse which has been unusually applied on arrival. Some cover faults of no importance. A very attractive example of one of the three usages recorded, to our knowledge, from this locality. Cert. Moorhouse. RHM 6.
