Jamaica1822, June 11. Entire letter from Kingston to Madrid, having two disinfection incisions, reaching Havana to be forwarded to Cádiz, with application in Cuba of "Islas De/Barlovento" handstamp (P.E. 33), denoting the rate (8-9 adarmes of weight) on arrival with "9.T" due marking. One of exceedingly few letters known with "Islas De Barlovento" postmark on mail having origin in Jamaica, besides one of just about five covers recorded with this marking of Havana in black.
