Entire letter from Mexico to Lima (Peru), with "4" rate marking, altered for the addition of ½ real in manuscript paying the single maritime and inland fees, handstamped by "Mexico" straight line on departure, endorsed "Primea. vía". One of only four covers so far recorded from Mexico to Peru in the colonial period. Ex Rosenthal.
