MexicoOutgoing Mail1802, Dec. 22. Entire letter from Campeche to Tenerife (Canary Islands, Spain), carried at single rate via Havana and Cádiz, then being placed on board another ship to final destination, bearing Italic "Islas De/Barlovento." (P.E. 31) handstamped in red at Havana, black "Yndias" straight-line of Cádiz (P.E. 5) and "4" reales rate marking as required for the unpaid maritime rate. Certainly one of just fewer than five letters exhibiting the "Islas de Barlovento" & "Yndias" postmarks.
