Official folded cover from Madrid to Havana, with cachet of the Supreme Court of Justice denoting the sender, 'Baeza" c.d.s. of Madrid, rated at 40 reales with red markings per unpaid 4 ounces weight (despite official letters did not pay postage, the mail was charged in a special account to be compensated between departments); very fine strike in blue of oval "Correo Maritimo./N°. 1" handstamp (P.E. 44). Side flaps missing. A very infrequent high rate on mail carried by the "Empresa".
