Auction: SW1020 - Maritime Mail of Spanish Colonies in America
Lot: 110
CubaIncoming Mail1826, April 23. Entire letter from Cádiz (Spain) to Havana, arriving to destination without signs of any postmark, being there initially handstamped by "Havana" straight line (P.E. 12), which was applied in error on this inbound letter, being subsequently overstruck by the corresponding "España" straight line (P.E. 28) denoting incoming mail from Spain. Ink erosions and slight aging, as usually found. An exceptional and probably unique usage of both postmarks.
