ChileIncoming Mail1780 circa. Cover front from Madrid addressed to Agustín Jáuregui at Santiago as Governor and President of the Royal Audience of Chile, with annotated "13" rate corresponding to 1 ounce including 10 reales maritime fee and 2½ reales for inland carriage, struck by crowned "M/Al. 6" marking on dispatch and "España" postmark of Cádiz. It was very probably transmitted via Buenos Aires and Cordillera. Scarce. Ex Camino.
