Cover from Bogotá to Bucaramanga (Samper archives), bearing 1877-79 20c. blue and 10c. brown on laid paper, paying the up to 30 grams rate between states, tied by "Bogotá" oval handstamps in blue. A vertical crease is of insignificant consequence on the adhesive, only mentioned for accuracy. Only about five covers are recorded with the 10c. on laid paper; furthermore, this franking represents an extraordinary combination. Scott 75, 81. Photo
