ColombiaClassic Period1860, 5c. grey lilac on laid paper, stone A, a choice group of five examples, one touched at top, otherwise excellent margins; three unused and one with o.g., and two used, one at Bogota and the other with traces of indistinct handstamp; the laid paper printing in used condition is very scarce. Also 5c. grey lilac and lilac, a choice group of 12 examples on wove paper, six unused with fine mint pair showing diagonal dash at bottom of left-hand adhesive, used stamps (5) including rare dark greyish brown shade, scarce red "Ibague/Franca" two-lines handstamp.
